WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT US
Worth every penny!
Stayed here just last night with my boyfriend for one night. I am currently at University here and we wanted a quiet, cheap night away from my flat and have the privilege of a nice room with bathroom etc. Hotel is lovely. Simple but nice. We had a small double room but was perfect for us. May be a slight trouble for other people but suited us fine. Bed was amazing! We both slept great. Room is lovely and clean. Bathroom a good size too and was lovely to have a bath. Hotel offers free parking too which is great. Wi-Fi super good and quick. Location is handy with a big Sainsbury’s along the road and you have lots of choice of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. Staff very welcoming and helpful. A few negatives but ways hotel could improve (this is me being picky) such as the tv was quite high up and would be nicer abit more eye level. Bathroom shower curtain could of done with a newer one (perhaps a glass base as the curtain takes up abit of room). Our window was really stiff so might be a hassle if you older and not as strong. Another is the door of the bathroom is abit cramped with the bed. But overall for the price we payed it was honestly so good (£50). I would 100% recommend for being staying here as you do get your moneys worth and we had a lovely stay. It was just what we needed. I should hopefully be returning again soon and to try the breakfast as it smelt amazing but we didn’t have it this time.

Good value, good location
Very reasonable prices and close to shops, cafes etc. Friendly helpful staff. Haven’t tried the restaurant. Basic but clean an comfortable rooms. No lifts so maybe not suitable for everyone. Deservedly popular.

Excellent value for money hotel
I spent 5 nights here and was very impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the room. The Wi-Fi facility was also top notch. On a couple of major bus routes, this slightly out of the centre hotel is really quite a find. The high street has a good selection of shops and eateries and the Sainsburys is a huge store. I would happily stay here again!

Vintage But Modern
Love the accommodation, the building is old but the rooms are modern and upgraded, the room we got was pretty good size, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and upgraded, have tea &coffee available in the room. Breakfast was awesome, they have hot food and lots of delicious choices The Front desk and Restaurant Manager are very friendly and helpful. I love the location too, just a few steps from the big grocery, Sainsbury and lots of restaurants, easy access to catch the bus to get to the city center. Safe to walk around.
